Description
This is my new baby Jaspurr Rose. Shes a pure bred Maine Coon and is 4 months old. She looks allot older because Maine coons are one of the largest feline breeds. They are also know as Gentle Giants. Old tales say that the Vikings brought them over to North America and that they may have been bred with bob cats or even raccoons. I'm not to sure about the raccoon part, but I do love her tail because it looks so much like a raccoons. That's what it said in the Cat Fancy Mag that I was reading a few weeks ago that was on Maine Coons.
She can never replace Scheurmann, but I love her and shes my new furry baby.
These were taken with a crappy instant Kodak camera yesterday. Jan the 23rd. 2006. I got her for my birthday on the 8th. The day after Scheurmann passed over.
About her name:
Her markings are so unique that she reminded me of a jasper stone and she never stops purring so I changed the spelling to Jaspurr. Her middle name Rose is in memory of Scheurmann and the Yellow rose my Mother bought for me during the week before he passed over and that's also in the picture of Schermy & me
